New York is one of the most expensive places on the planet ... BUT ...
if several people share a hotel room, things become manageable
quickly! Early organization and commitment is crucial! Last I looked,
the average off-season hotel room on Manhattan hovered between $100
and $150 a night. Split 4 ways, this is less terrifying.
