Bringing back the dead, with terpinesPosted by Kenzi on August 27, 2001 at 22:25:33: This weekend my henna assistant brought a defrosted bottle of pasteto our street event; we mixed it up about a year ago for a demo and she just threw it in the freezer and forgot about it. She brought it to the event and added about 20 drops of cajeput to the paste. She did some designs on her wrist and fingers and we were amazed to see color after 10 minutes (pretty bright orange, tho not as bright as with fresh paste with terps after 10 minutes). It darkened to a light brown in 36 hours. The color wasn't anything that you couldn't get with regular fresh paste without terpines, but it was amazing if you consider how old the paste was. Again more ideas for experiments to see if cajeput can resurrect old pastes that have been frozen for a few weeks. The color might be good enough for clients.
