Ah. There's been oxygen contact through that plastic (you mentioned
the orange stain on the counter!)....your hennotannnins bound with air
and they will no longer bind with your keratin. Hennotannic acid is a
dimer and it has demised.

Start fresh.

Either your plastic was too thin for the job, or your freezer did some
defrosting cycles during last month. Did your ice cream get soft?
