I just had to dip the tip in some water every so often, and : it was very easy to draw on the skin. And it doesn't interfere with : the stain either. : ~Nick : I use gel pens to sketch out knots or lay out grids for geometric patterns. They also work well and don't interfere with the stain. They will wipe off with water or alcohol if you make a mistake. Oil takes it off when you remove the paste. The only real advantage they have over the watercolor pencils would be that you don't need water to apply them to the skin. I use a garnet colored pen to sketch out designs before I try them to give me a feel for the finished look. I also use it for designs I show people who let me practice on them. Helps to get the black image out of their minds. I also use it to practice designs on skin. It washes off easily with soap and water. I wonder if I can still find my crayola watercolor pencils???
