Jamila Henna On Our Hair!

Over the weekend I hennaed my hair and my sisters with Jamila Henna.
We haven't used Jamila on our hair before. We both usually use Light
Mountain. I mixed our henna Thursday. We planned to apply it on
Friday however we didn't have time. The henna was mixed with only
water and left to sit out until Saturday when I hennaed mine, and
Aurora's was left out until Sunday when she finally hennaed hers. I
wasn't sure if the henna had any staining power left by then, but we
weren't going to waste it.

I left mine on for 12 to 13 hours. Aurora's was left on for 6 or 7
hours. My hair is dark brown. It has dark cherry red tones. My
sisters hair medium brown. It now appears to be laced with fire. It
is very very red. It also reminds of strawberries. Our hair has never
taken henna so well before. This makes us think we have never had
henna that was truly fresh before Jamila. Her hair is red, wet or dry
in or out of the light. It's amazing. I was also really happy we
didn't have to pick the sticks and twigs out of our hair. I hope to
have pictures soon.
