Hi Sam,Whenever I henna a client I always put a small dot or a squigle on my
own hand at the same time from the batch I mixed for the client. The
next day I can check that the henna stain was good on my own hand, if
the client had problems it would then be down to the aftercare or
skin type.
Checking the paste on my own hand (small dot for five mins) before
leaving for an event has saved me from some embarassing henna
faliures. My entire henna supply went off earlier this year and if I
hadn't have done the spot test I would have really dissapointed some
bodies.
