: : I have a red raised scar (keloid scar) on my forearm (near my

: : and am wondering whether a Henna pattern could camoflauge/hide it?
: : How successful would henna be at this?
:
: Henna will stain it. You can use it as part of a pattern, and
either
: renew or change the pattern as often as you like!
Bobbi-
I did henna on a friend to cover over a scar; she was going skiing
and hot tubbing in Colorado this past January and felt self conscious
about a scar on her back. I did a peacock pattern and did cover over
the scar. The scar tissue does take the henna stain, in her case, the
scar tissue stained a little darker than the other skin tissue. I
didn't get to see the henna stain in the days that followed to see if
the scar tissue retained the stain longer than the regular tissue.
At any rate my friend loved the mehndi and got lots of compliments on
the pattern, people didn't even know that she had a scar. Do it up!
