What works best tea tree or cajeput? (nearly equal)

I have both.

TT goes slightly darker, but gives a shallower penetration and
disappears faster from skin.

The scents are very different. I find TT blends well with masculine
scents, and Caj blends well with feminine scents. I mix TT with
marjoram, cardamom, clove bud... things like that for earthy smells.
Caj, to my nose, goes well with geranium, geranium bourbon, neroli,
those ones.
