The hennaartist alway had to design designs..which were something special and diffrend to the other king´s hennas...simmilar today:jennifer lo has her own hairstylist and wants something "unaverage" and destiny´s child have theire own styler....... In old persia , in king´s homes the hennas were not really based on the islam.I have even redrwan 2 miniatures in which women´s faces are in the design.or in which you can really see animals.......and this was nOT allowed.......like sex is not allowed before wedding but 90% have soem boyfreind´s/gurlfriends before wedding....... BUT in folk´s henna the meinings were VERY important! My miniature redrwaings are from Isfahan,Shiraz ,Kashan,Balouch and from Theran. Erfan
