In a small Tupperware container, I mix Castle Art henna with enough
lime juice to make it a thick toothpaste-like paste. I put the seal
on and leave it overnight. The next day I heat tea (black or green),
add a few pieces of dried tamarind that has been chopped up and let
it boil down just a little. While it's still hot, I add a teaspoon
of sugar to my henna paste and just enough of the tea mixture to make
the paste a thick frosting consistency. I stir until I am sure I
have no lumps and this I put into a ziploc bag. I leave this for
approximately 2 hours and then I can cut the tip of the corner off
the bag, fill my j-bottle and my henna is ready! I am a Native
American with naturally dark skin and this recipe works great on my
skin. Angel-2
