paste problems

same recipe I have been using with a powder I knew would give a so-so
stain. The weather was way too warm so the only variable was the
paste. My stain was almost worse than if I had just used lemon and
sugar. I redid it and steamed it. After 3 hours it was only a tich
darker. bummer, it was a good peice of work.
Maybe the powder you had was old or for some reason doesn't work well
with the terps?? I normally use Kenzi's powder so hopefully the
Moroccan powder will help. Good luck!!!!
