wait 2 minutes Khoa foam latex is a different medium and has to
blended with chemicals to get it to foam, A casting of alginate is
first applied to the skin to copy the form so that the prosthetic can
be molded, Cosmetic (so called) latex is a synthetic co polymer that
has a very low percentage of zinc and sulphur we sell into the tv and
theatrical industry so give me some credit I do know my own product
ours is in fact a low protein latex that will not cause any adverse
reaction $1.65 is very cheap for 500ml I don't know how you manage
that one.
The fact of the matter is latex is latex it comes from a tree in its
purest form it is spun (centrifuged) to get rid of at least 40% water
and then shipped to processors Ours is heated (vulcanized) for 70
hours and further processing is done to leach out the proteins (or
most of it) as a high protein latex could cause de-sensitisation and
anaphylaxis. a very small amount of ammonia less than 0.3% is added
as an anti oxident and to prevent bactera forming the correct term is
cis 1.4 polyisoprene the term Cosmetic is only a term which
describes alteration in appearance (tempory)this term is mainly used
as a selling grab did you really think I would openly say without
having the facts that farscape and planet of the apes used latex to
from the masks, WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT APPLYING FOAM LATEX TO THE
SKIN you have your wires crossed me thinks.......
