I have been getting reliably dark results very quickly with the terped
pastes. They stain a respectable color within an hour, fade a bit
quickly, but nothing really near Catherines postings (absolutely
fabulous, drooling, jealous)
Catherine, your directions are straight forward and seem very complete
to me. No one has really responded regarding the quality of oils and I
truly think that is where the differences are coming from.
There are SO many places to buy and order the oils and since none of us
know exactly what we are looking for everyone has different qualities
and reslts. It seems most people are using one of three basic henna
powders, lemon/lime and then motley mixes of oils from whereever we
could get our hands on or afford.
I personally think the next step may be to look at the oils more
closely (the Brand) and work down from there. If we can really gather
some results (if each of us post re our brand possibly?) about each
brand, dealer, price and quality I think that will be the linch pin.
