I temperature IS important ....
Molecules are more reactive with heat (ever try to tie-dye a t-shirt
in tepid water rather than hot?) So ... hot weather is GOOD.

Perspiration darkens henna.

The body's base temperature is also important.

All the Sirius trials were done in indecently hot weather and grubby
conditions and its only begun to get cool and pleasant. Starwood, Ozz,
and Pennsic were also HOT, not to mention filthy. Come to think of it,
alcohol consumption featured prominantly in those events too, and that
can make a difference!

Wraps have been a primo way to "fake" summer weather and perspiraton,
as is steam.

I won't know how cold weather affects terped henna until October or
so....
