The horror is unimaginable and our thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families. With love Lynn: As night fell it became very calm. There are almost no cars on the : streets now...I live on a main road and I have only heard two cars go : by in the last hour. Mostly emergency vehicles but not too many : sirens. I am thinking maybe they don't want to increase the tension : here with sirens going all night. : : The street I live on is the northern perimeter that has been cordonned : off by the police. I need ID if I leave the cordonned area and want : to get back in. There are police on the street keeping things in : order. : : I will need to sleep soon; it's been an exhausting day but I am too : keyed up from the stress and worry. : : I worry about the search and rescue teams, hoping that they find some : people alive and can save them. It seems so quiet here that I wonder : if they are doing anything at all, though I am sure they are. : : I realize from reading posts here that the whole country feels this : tension and now truly knows what vulnerability feels like. It's not : just New York and Washington DC and Pennsylvania that are suffering : from what has befallen us, but the whole country, and we fear that : there may be other strikes. I hope you are all finding time to sleep : and be with people you love and sending positive energy out to those : who need it. I am trying to decompress so I can do some of that
