Happy Birthday Natalie,I hope you spend your day as joyously as possible. You have a right
and obligation to hold on to your own joy while feeling the sorrow
for the loss and losses of others. It is possible to do both.
Celebration of the day of your birth is a wonderful reflection and
tribute to those who love and raised you such that you feel that your
birth and being alive is something worth celebration. It is your day
but also the day of ones who love you. They would not want you to
selfishly think exclusively of yourself. And obviously that is not
who you are. They would, however, want you to be happy and want the
opportunity to celebrate with you the joy you bring to them. I hope
you give yourself permission to hold on to some joy in the midst of
so much pain and suffering. If henna on your hands it takes to raise
and keep your spirit alive...do it. How can something so innocent
and wonderful as the celebration of your birth in such a harmless way
be wrong. I hope the fear leaves your family. It is counter-
productive to love and freedom and individuality--things it appears
that they have so successfully instilled in you. I strongly believe
that the people who are bigotted enough to attack people because they
think they are of a certain faith or religion will not have a clue
about henna and so they will be attacking for another reason
altogether.

Maureen...My son is also a Virgo. Seems to be a lot of Virgo
connections here. He is the 21st.
