question regarding black henna for hair ...

I have finally found a local wholesaler of henna for hair, after muchsearching.
The thing is, they offer: neutral, red, dark red, blonde, brown &
black.
The wholesaler insists that the powder is ALL NATURAL, despite my
questions regarding PPD etc.
Is there any natural way of making henna for hair black (I don't
think so?) & also, how are the other colours such as blonde etc
achieved?
