If you go to Radio Shack or possibly similar stores, you can get
sticky tape that is meant to repair reel-to-reel and cassette tapes
which is made only as wide as those tapes and sticks to skin very
well. That will save you some effort in cutting the tape
lengthwise. They make a jig for holding it still while slicing it
across that might be helpful if your hands shake at all.
If you do this, please send pics to the hennapage as I don't think
I've seen this method pictured in results.
