Hi Robert,

Were you to pray for all the people of the world no matter where they
are and who they are to have enough resolve to stand up to these
cowards who murder innocents with terrorist acts....and that all
leaders of all lands will do whatever is required so all men, women
and children can live without the fear of being attacked by
terrorist, their neighbor or a bigotted stranger while going to work
or to school. Our prayers would be quite similar indeed.

Hitler, Mussolini, Bin Laden and a host of others are not the failure
of God, Allah, Jehovah et. al and prayer...but rather the failure of
man. Man creates these people and then destroys them...creates them
and then destroys them...crates them and then destroys them. Man
creates the fertile ground in which they grow...them stands by and
watch them grow big and strong...and watch...doing nothing while they
choke out the life of others as they grow...and then at some point
determines that it is enough and then destroys people such as this.
I just tire of man creating and fertilizing that ground in which
these people grow. And then think that the response to these people
is simply to weed them out. So weed them out. When the smoke clears
and the sun comes out guess what will be growing there for the next
generation to deal with. Who bares the most responsibility? The
weed that chokes out the garden or the gardener who mixed the soil,
tended the garden and ignored its growth until much damage has been
done? It is just a philosophical question. But it is one we need to
go deep within ourselves to answer. Or we will forever be caught up
in that definition of stupidity. And by the way, noone went to war
to save Jews from going into concentration camps any more than the
Civil War was fought to free the slaves. Had that been the case, so
many Jews would never have died. And who knows if prayer would have
helped the Jews not be taken to the camps since no one seemed to pray
for them but other Jews. Wonder what would have occurred if others
prayed and other religions had stood up? We will never know because
it never happened. Anyway Robert, you and I are not at war. And
Kenzi's statement is about the domino effect that has occured and how
the ante is upped. But, you know that. We, by brother will not make
war...you and I and others here. Peace!

Maureen
