What a rotten situation you are in. I really hope that you find the
means to take care of yourself and heal. Acupuncture is wonderful
and very helpful for all my ills and aches and pains. You might see
if you can find one that will exchange their services for something
you might be able to offer them: babysitting, transcription, dog
walking, etc. My insurance covers acupuncture but my acupuncturist
said she'd be willing to do an exchange.

I think that stencils are fine, especially given your circumstances.
The only time I really think they are inappropriate is if you are
charging someone for your work. There are a lot of black henna
artists out there using them which only highlights how loosely the
word "artist" can be interpreted.

I have some really lovely Moroccan henna stencils which are very
different from the usual stuff you see in the market. Email at the
address above and I will send you some pictures of what I have.
