Sarcasm comes when an someone has nothing left to say. Do you think
that the U.S can bomb Afghanistan, Iraq and whomever else it pleases
and there will be no consequence? Pursuing justice is without need
for discussion- it will be done. Attacking a country filled with
people who've already been war-mongered to something beyond poverty
will serve one primary function: It will feed a good many thousands
more into bin Ladin's army. Let's play pretend and say we take out
bin Ladin. Do you think the terrorism world will stop and life can go
on the 'way it was before?' Certainly you don't. Attacks on
Afghanistan will serve only to create more terrorists and further
endanger Americans, if not any enemy of terrorism anywhere in the
world. You know, when you go to the doctor with a cough, they don't
yank out your lungs immediately. The doctor will ask if you have
assorted pains, conditions, if you smoke. You have to consider these
and then move toward a solution. You don't yank out the lungs at
first chance, you look at what your lifestyle might be doing to cause
the problem. Communism isn't the issue here, jumping in hastily with
both feet could do much more harm than good, why, heck, just look at
what we did with Afghanistan to begin with? Aid is a wondrous thing
that one country does for another, but it shouldn't be out of a guilt
complex. After we bomb the heck out of them, are we going to give
them more aid? Why don't we just save ourselves the trouble and focus
on attacking terrorism, not suffering people under an evil entity of
a government, that can be in the next chapter.

: The USA has tried to broker land for peace talks. It was in the
news
: here in Canada for the last few years. Funny it was not in the news
: in the USA. USA’s policy of putting democracy first, ahead of
: dictators like Arafat and Hussein is a good direction to head. It
: will take a lot of hands to pull heads out of dark places for those
: who don’t realise or recognise the efforts that the USA has put in
to
: bring peace in the Middle East. You’re right that Saddam should
not
: deny the people of Iraq food and medicine. He should also stop
using
: biological weapons of mass destruction against his own people and
: fund terrorist acts. And people who work hard should not be
rewarded
: for their hard work but rather should give the fruits of their
labour
: to those who don’t work. That is an interesting idea. I think
they
: tried that in a place called USSR. It seems to me it didn’t work
: there. I think they are still doing it in North Korea and Libya.
: Perhaps those countries would be a good model that you could
promote
: to your fellow Americans. You obviously are right up-to-date in
: world affairs and have a keen grasp of how to give people the
: liberties and security that should be inherited rights as members
of
: the human race. I look forward to more insightful comments that
will
: promote world peace.
