Not sure what you're asking, but here's what I know.
Henna is permanent for the life of the skin.
Leave the paste on for a week ( I think this will do it) and you can
either scrape it off, or just let it come off as the drum is played.
I think the oils and heat from the drummers' hands help the stain
darken, too.
