I have a table where I park my hand (or my model's hands) and other
body parts. When I shoot my foot, as below, I'm standing, but have my
foot up on the table in a bizarre position. It's easier to shoot
someone else, but I seem to be most patient hennaeing myself (I can
twiddle away for ages). I try to get my hand, or theirs, as flat as
possible, for a shallow depth of field. I'm not a good photographer,
but I ask questions of people who are.

To adjust color, I use lview pro. I hold my hand by the screen, and
adjust until the screen looks exactly like my hand.
