I can't give you brand-name recommendations but I can tell you one of
the most important things to look for if you are going to be using
your camera for henna photos. You MUST have a macro lens feature for
taking close up pictures of henna. With a regular lens it is hard to
get in close enough and fill the frame with the design (in all its
glory!) and still have everything in focus. There are other bells
and whistles that I find important in a digital camera, but none as
important as a macro lens (and that goes for regular film cameras as
well).
