I was going to ask you what look you were working for with the brace,
but I realize now, I never did. Opps. It seems quite obvious now,
especially since you just told us (my but my mind works like a tissue
paper trap sometimes.)

So, embossed leather, is it. Depending on the style of tooling that
would work very well with more traditional Mehndi. My mom, who is a
ceramist, did a ceramic reprodution of a Civil War tooled leather
canteen. The designs were floral in nature and very similar to some
Mehndi designs. Have you thought about asking Catherine if she has any
info or source suggetions for leather designs? Did you have a
particular country and time period in mind? (oh, sure, now I remember
to ask questions...) I look forward to seeing how both design lines
progress.
