This is not a good thing. My repetitive stress disorder first showed
up as trouble typing back in '93 (oh, how I could turn out a 10 page
paper in a few hours and type a good 85 words a minute - glorious
days of youth) and I'm at the point where it won't get better, but if
I'm very careful and don't use my hands much, it won't get much
worse. As the emoticons go, :-(

I strongly suggest that you, or anyone else who has similar problems,
see a doctor and fast - it may be nothing, or it may be tendonitis,
or carpel tunnel or my little rsd, but it should be looked at. Right
now, I can't henna more than a finger or two at a time without
repercussions, and am looking at stencils (still not comfortable
using them) or asking Katie (Perigrine) to henna me. (Katie - henna
me!)

Your university should have facilities to help you out if anything is
wrong - dictation software and such. Acupuncture is a wonderful
thing, too. Some day, I'll be able to afford it again . . .

At any rate, we need our hands. Please stop by your doctor or the
infirmary just to make sure it isn't serious.

Anne, who's on vioxx now and isn't sure it's working . . .
