My advice for getting dark stains would be to add terpine-richessential oils, but they also cause the stain to fade more quickly.
That is probably why Mud fades quickly as well.
If you don't want to go that direction you will have to experiment
with your henna and see when the dye is released and apply
soon thereafter. Then apply heat and keep it on as long as
possible. You'll get the hang of it again but you may hate waiting
so long.
