what to do with the "dregs"Posted by jolynn on October 30, 2001 at 04:57:34: In reply to: Thanks Jolynn posted by Graeme on October 29, 2001 at 07:30:51: Try mixing them with boiling water to a medium paste and putting themin your(or someone else's)hair. It will condition the hair and give copper to red highlights. try to avoid white, gray or light blond hair as it may get a bit orange. You can also try mixing for mehndi and applying it with a brush or stick-don't go for the fine lines. I've never tried this so I'm not sure if it you will get a good stain of not, but it never hurts to try! so, after you sifted it, how do it work and how is the color? take care jolynn : After Maureens advice down below I sifted in a different way, guess : how, yep, a large bio-yoghurt container, close weave cloth and coins, : a few minutes later and voila loads of fine powder. Thanks to you and : all for advice. The question now is what to do with all the coarse : bits, I notice they soak up lemon juice like crasy, but how do you : get a fine line from what looks like grass cuttings...lol. Anyone any : uses for the stuff, bear in mind I'm male so dyeing hair is not : really an option!
