It seems that when I use an unterped paste on my nails (or anyone
else's), the colour is just a bright orange or weak red. Some types
of Meccan henna (unterped) would actually give a bright red colour.
With a terped paste, the stain would result in a deep dark red.
Darkest glorious red at the cuticle. Some of the brides I did even
commented that alot of people wondered if they were using some kind
of nail polish as the colour was uniform and deep. So far I've only
mixed tea tree EO in the henna dip. Darla is right, to get a dark
consistent colour, you have to continuously henna your nails. 2 years
ago, I had hennaed nails for more than a year :) ... just love the
colour of henna on me :).
