Yogurt in Henna Paste Question

Hi all,

I've seen somewhere references to using plain yogurt in one's paste.
Does anyone know anything about this? Is it useful or bad, what does
it do to the paste, etc. The one thing I'd be worried about is that
it would get really nasty in those 12-24 hours that I leave my paste
out of the fridge to release the dye after I first mix it up.

Any input?
