I just tried using a plastic syringe I had lying around, not sure why I had it, its not really a real syringe with a changeable metal tip, its all plastic. Probably came from mom who works at a pharmaceutical company for some art project or other, I dont know where you might get this kind of thing in real life..I dont even know what its really for. anyway, had some trouble with it, when filled with henna and plunger stuck in, the air pressure inside was such that you didnt have to press the plunger at all, the henna just squeezed out on its own. hence, no control at all. have you had this problem? how did you deal with it? I tried to slide a pin down inside the rubber seal of the plunger to let the air out which worked for about a second but this did not ultimately do the trick as I went along. eventually gave up, squeezed it all into a bag and went from there.

do you fill it from the plunger end, or do you draw it up like you would normal liquid into a syringe throu the tip (this seemed like a silly thing to do, involving much time, when you could just spoon it in the other end. but then this pressure thing happens.)

intersted to know,
Peregrine
