Sirius NYC informal classes....volunteer facilitatorsPosted by Kenzi on November 8, 2001 at 17:47:40: I am putting together a schedule of informal classes for SiriusNYC and need volunteers. In addition to the classes that CCJ will teach we will have a few informal sessions about various aspects of henna; they will be structured as a group discussion with a facilitator to keep things rolling. One session will be devoted to henna tools/techniques/methods/tricks and i would like to get a representative of each style/tool to give a little demonstration. This would be maybe a 5-10 minute presentation, nothing formal, just how-to. For example, Anne Beltested has offered to do a demo of the "carrot bag/pastry tip" method and either Nick or I could do the j-bottle demo, I could also do the straining demo. What we need is someone to do a carrot bag demo (CCJ?), cone-rolling, sifting and anything else I may have forgotten. Please email me at the above email address (sirius_nyc@kenzi.com) if you would like to volunteer or if you have a suggestion of something you want to see covered in one of these informal classes. Thanks
