Manly henna designs?

I'm doing some experimentation and since I've run out of easily-accessible skin, my husband gets to be my guinea pig. The problem
with this is that he's going to be starting a new job next week, and
although the job doesn't care what he looks like, I don't want to
give him trouble if the co-workers happen to catch a glance of any
girly flower designs. I need some suggestions on how to put together
a manly, testosterone-y Clint Eastwood sort of design. CCJ has some
lovely design element for men in her book, but I'm not sure how to
work them into a larger pattern without adding "girly" elements. Any
suggestions are most welcome, especially links to pictures.
