Henna paste (without terpenes such as cajeput, tea tree etc.)
can still give a good stain for about 2-3 days after mixing. Stains
on the hands and feet can last 3-4 weeks. On other parts of the
body the stain can last anywhere between 1and 3 weeks.

If you are using terpenes in your paste, your paste can last about
5 days. The stain will usually disappear more quickly.

The best aftercare is anything that will keep the skin from
exfoliating. Don't scrub the area when washing it and don't use
alpha-hydroxy lotions. Keeping the skin moist with lotions or
oils will help. Eventually your skin will exfoliate taking your
design with it.
