If the kit did not contain exactly the ingredients advertised, you
should definitely write to the seller and demand the rest.
Otherwise, kits are different with every brand or seller. If you are
looking for a specific item in a kit, make sure you will get it
before you pay. For example, Maureen's kits include a Jacquard
bottle and mine include a carrot bag. I include essential oils and
she doesn't. She includes a pattern book and I don't. Both are
excellent kits but they are very different in both ingredients and
price.
As for packaging, again, it depends on the manufacturer. I buy my
henna cheap in big bags and portion it out myself, so mine does come
in plain plastic bags. I'd rather be able to charge less for boring
but effective packaging than have to charge more for something
snazzier looking but no more effective.
Best of luck with your new kit and by all means, let us know how it
turns out for you!

p.s. did you get the sample I sent?

excited
