If you have henna on the back of your hand, if you soak it for a bit
in as warm a water as you like, or take a bath or shower, you can
usually rub a good portion of it off with just a dry towel
afterward. you may also try anything made for exfoliation, like
apricot scrub, lotion with alpha-hydroxy (this is something that
older women tend to have, ask your mom), or something like Lava
soap. Do NOT scrub until it hurts! The henna will go away faster
than scrapes or abrasions from removing skin that's not dead yet.
The above will also work for the palm but it won't work as
dramatically. If you like the design, you might try going over it
again with the henna to get a more even color, which generally is
surer than trying to remove it.
