They delivered it to the customer in quadruple plastic sealed bags
and she verified she was expecting just that thing and they let her
have it. No hassle, although the lady delivering it was curious as
to why someone would want all that green powder. I was surprised,
I'd expected something like Kenzi was saying.

: They turn it over to the police who then contact you and ask you a
: TON of ?s. If you satisfy them then you are requested to join them
: at the post office. There your package is triple sealed and in
it's
: own room. YOU open it and assure them of what it is. Good to
bring
: some mixed if you have it. Get to know your postal station and
: educate them on what henna is. It may or may not make a
difference.
: Good luck.

: : I am the customer Lauren is speaking about (at least I think it's
: : me). I understand completely about the postal service problem
and
: I
: : believe that the package will show up sooner or later - either at
: my
: : place or back at Laurens. I am disappointed that I couldn't get
my
: : hands on the henna though.....I love getting packages in the mail
: and
: : so look forward to them!
: : I do not feel that anyone is at fault - it's just how it is right
: : now - whether on the receiving or the shipping end of any
packages
: we
: : had all better take precautions and pay the extra so that our
: : packages can be tracked and insured.
: : I will be ordering again in the near future - I still want to try
: : that henna!
: :
: : Yvonne, who wonders what the postal service will make of
: the "strange
: : green powder" if the package is mangled in processing :)
