This is just to let those of you who replied to my First Festival post
(thank you!) know that it was a success!

The weather was VERY hot (101) but that just helped the henna stain,
so we were grateful. More grateful were we for the brief rainshower a
few hours into said hot weather.

We hennaed around 60 people, lots of kids and teenagers, but we even
hennaed a 65-year old granmother who was talked into by her daughter.
Turned out she loved it!

After event fees and paying my help, I still get to put money in the
bank. We had lots of fun and educated a great many people.

Thanks tremendously for that suggestion of the knee pad. We were in a
parking lot and would have had very sore knees, indeed.

Tonight we go out for Moroccan food to celebrate!
