That is truely strange! How warm was the place where you left your
henna? Sounds like the dye release was really really fast (happens
under very hot conditions) and exhausted the batch ...a brown batch
of henna usually means all the dye has been released and you'll just
get orange stains. Do you have some henna left that you can try with
only a 3 hour wait before you apply?
Or....you've got henna different from any I've ever experienced.....
