52 hours....go shopping for camphor spirit

I got some pix of the two legs together. The camphor spirit leg is
definitely darker. The camphor leg kept oxodizing long after the
plain leg. It's as if the camphor (a strong oxidant) is darkening the
henna withing the skin cells, as opposed to the air oxidizing the
topmost cells. I can't sling my leg onto my microscope stand so I'm
guessing. I'm doing another trial tonight, hand and arm. The camphor
may have made the henna penetrate farther (camphor readilly penetrates
subcutaneous skin) ... I'll watch for that over the next week to see
which leg holds color longer.

The only down side seems to be that camphor kills the lovely natural
henna scent. When you mix camphor spirit into your henna paste, DO
NOT take a deep whiff. The alcahol, camphor and henna mix, at first,
smells absolutely gaggeous!
