Aaaack! Other people's henna. I, personally, would say "no way". I
have had a couple of offers to do work with someone else's henna (in
fact, getting the job was conditional upon using their henna...they
were trying to cut costs and had henna to get rid of). I passed on
the job because I don't want to do henna work with powder i am not
familiar with, and then have my reputation riding on it. It might
have been acceptable if they hadn't been trying to unload their henna
on me and make money off it.

I would suggest getting a sample of their old henna and doing some
practicing with it. Mix up a batch, see if you are going to need to
do extra sifting, if you are going to get a lot of clogs...and other
things like that which could slow you down and make you miserable.

As for ideas for party, if your henna-ees are beginners, you may want
to stock up on stencils so they can get a nice little design without
much effort. That might inspire them to get creative and do freehand
designs.
