: Now, you may say that this doesn't really affect you, and I'm sure a : thousand of you will write back to say that you have used walnut : extract a thousand times with no ill effect. Still I would suggest : leaving it out because for the small effect it has on your colour, it : doesn't pay to expose yourself to liability. I agree, you never know what in the world people will be sensitive to. My skin puffs up and itches to almost any type of detergent, even the safe "natural" types. And don't assume that because you have sensitive skin and aren't allergic to something that someone else isn't. I really wanted to henna my SO when I first got my shipment of MUD, but I tested it on myself first, since we have similar skin allergies. I was fine after a week or two of hennaeing, so I started applying it to his shoulder. He told me that it was stinging a LOT, so I had him wash it off immediately in the shower. It was a good thing he did, too, since his shoulder area went numb for about 1/2 hour. I am now super paranoid, so I tell my friends exactly what I put in my paste before I apply it. And I also tell them if anything stings or itches in the slightest bit to tell me immediately.
