If you don't want to sift and want a good price I can recommend
Jamila henna which I bought from Theadora or the Moroccan henna sold
by Kenzi. Both are regulars here on the forum. Both of these hennas
need no sifting. The Jamila is especially silky smooth. I believe the
henna sold by Castle Arts is also Jamila. The Jamila gives a
wonderful dark cherry red stain and the Moroccan gives more of a deep
brown stain. I use a Jaquard bottle with both of these and have had
no clogging. And best of all no sifting! I paid 7.00 to 8.00 US
dollars for 100 grams plus shipping for each.

Both hennas need only lemon juice to bring out their best, but be
sure to strain the juice several times.
