Henna disasters + Navaid color

Last night was kind of a disasterous night for henna with me :( I
tried to henna my hair--that didn't work at all, and my hair looked
really nasty this morning, but that was fixable. None of the color
showed up that I can tell, though.
How does one get rid of henna on fingernails? Bleach and buffing
aren't working. Somehow, henna can still stain through 4 layers of
nail polish...
Finally, and this one I'm the most curious abut, what are these
grayish bruise like marks? They look kind of like when you press your
fingernail into a flower petal. They only showed up in areas I
henna'd and I have no idea what caused them. I've never gotten
anything like that before.

As for the color of Navaid--It's about the same as Jamila, just
*slightly* less brown.
