How can I make my own transfers?

I know this question has come up many times in the forum, but I keep
forgetting what the suggestions are. I am not the best artist -
admittedly, I am rather poor. I would like to do some more intricate
designs and following a transfer seems like a good idea. I know it's
not a very "pure" or traditional way of applying henna. But, does
anyone make their own transfers from designs in books? I heard
something about tracing on tracing paper with a ball-point pen? Does
that work? Any othe rmethods I could try? I have my Casle Art
henna, my carrot bags (never used them before, but willing to try)
and ready to have some henns on my body! : )

Many Thanks.

Tracy
