Go to your art store and get a few Stabilo Aquarellable pencils.
(about $1 each) You can safely draw on your skin with those (the skin
just needs to be ever so slightly damp ...) and it does not interfere
with the henna stain.
I prefer sketching on skin rather than transferring, as bodies are
round and squidgy and transfers.

If you really want to transfer.... draw with your Aquarellable onto
the paper pattern, flop it upside down on your very slightly moistened
skin and rub over it until it transfers. Kiddie crayola markers do a
good job at this, too.
