getting Temptu to work wonderfullyPosted by Catherine Cartwright Jones on April 21, 2001 at 15:47:21: In reply to: Don't Use Temptu! posted by Lauren on April 21, 2001 at 13:23:29: The "outline black" from Temptu works very well if you put a few dropsat a time in the little lid unscrewed from the bottle, and dip your brush into that. That will evaporate the Temptu a bit. It works better a bit evaporated. Use 2 or 3 coats (perhaps with a very light dusting of baby powder inbetween) does the job. Their henna color IS odd to my eye, but it photographs well, and I suspect that was a consideration. They do a lot of work for the media. Real henna can look pretty nasty on video. I've used Temptu many times with excellent results, and I've never had any problem with the management. They've always been very nice to me and I have a cordial relationship with them. I don't have an business account with them, nor do I sell their products, but we correspond on issues of mutual interest. (trying to get the FDA to take PPD henna injuries seriously, for instance, and trying to get the FDA to approve natural henna for use on skin!)
