I think I may have said this here before, but it bears saying again.
I ordered the Temptu blue to use for faking facial tattoos at Pennsic
and no matter how carefully I followed the instructions, and no
matter how carefully I applied the stuff, it bled, ran, and smeared
after about five minutes. I also ordered their henna liner, which
aside from not being even remotely the color of henna behaved the
same way. I wrote to the company to ask if I had gotten a bad batch
or if I was doing it wrong. They said that Temptu is not meant for
use one the face to begin with, this despite their advertising
materials having a Maori-faced guy on the cover. They had no
explanation as to why the henna liner bled all over my hand during
application. I asked for a refund, which they flatly refused. Since
then, I have asked twice to be taken off their mailing list for promo
stuff and I am still getting it.
I sell henna, music, and other stuff, and if my products behaved that
badly for someone, I would at least offer a replacement if not a full
refund. It's bad business on top of a bad product and I recommend
having nothing to do with Temptu because of it.
