hennaing my hair

I am sitting here with henna and saran wrap on my head. I've already
done this once today but I missed a few spots. I am a brownish red
naturally and have died my hair for some time (covering the gray) I
usually go auburn..less damaging to the hair to go darker and
whenever I dye my hair the red comes out anyway.
Figured I might as well go for the henna this time. It came out a
brighter red than I'm used too but I like it. Messy as hell but
hey...it's better for my hair than that damn dye!
