It's my henna of choice for all occasions, and I used it this past weekend to do my first wedding. I worked night shift at my everyday job on Thursday night and mixed the henna at about 8:30 am (95% lemon juice, and at the bride's request,a few drops of lavender oil/black tea leaves/whole clove/tamarind brew) before sleeping for a while. We started henna on the bride at 7:30 pm and worked almost non-stop until 11. Then I did her mom and aunt and finished at 1:30 am. The henna is SO fabulous. I very carefully wrapped it in cotton batting and toilet paper so they could sleep (which the bride said she didn't get any of...!) She took everything off at about 7:30 am before getting her hair done and when I saw her at the ceremony at 11am, it was gorgeous. I told her that it would go even darker for a day or two so I'll call her tomorrow to say hi & see how it is. But yes, Kenzi's henna is the best I've ever used and I'll keep using it as long as I do henna (forever...) peace & henna, Jen ps I'll be posting the photos at my webshots site... http://community.webshots.com/user/jennaye : Still in New York as a prelude to moving here...spent yesterday : hennaing with Kenzi, and was introduced to her simpler method of : mixing henna. And the color ROCKS! No night-before, no long : simmering diva mix, just mix-on-the-spot, sit in the sun, dark : moroccan henna! I recommend it, as long as you remember the shorter : shelf life than Jamila or Body Arts. Mix it and Go! It was a fun : day - we didn't make a lot of money but had a blast nonetheless. : One side note is that the first henna done, right after mixing, isn't : as dark as the second one she did on my hand (after it sat for an : hour), and neither are as dark as the second foot I did myself when I : got back to where I'm staying (which may have to do more with washing : off too soon). But the fingers of my right hand where I wiped some : henna off stained dark burnt-orange fast.
